25 Jan Mid School Year Check-In

…and just like that, half of the school year is over!  As students are wrapping up Semester 1 and gearing up for Semester 2, here are a few important news items and reminders for the Vancouver program:

Semester 1 Awards Ceremony – Jan. 18, 2021

We held our Semester 1 Awards Ceremony last week – Honour Roll awards were given to students who achieved an 85% average or higher in their Semester 1 courses.  A Positive Attitude Award was also given to the student who displayed a consistent positive attitude towards their learning.  Subject academic excellence awards were also given to cross-enrolled students who achieved a final score of 90% or higher in individual courses.  Congratulations to all award winners!

Grade 10 Numeracy and Literary Assessments – Jan. 25-29, 2021

Students who are registered to write the G10 grad assessments at Xspace should remember to arrive 30 min early.  As we are enforcing strict COVID-19 safety protocols on premise, students should remember to bring their own stationery as well as wear face coverings.

Semester 1 Report Cards – Feb. 1, 2021

Semester 1 report cards for full-time students will be distributed on Feb. 1, 2021.

First Day of Semester 2 – Feb. 1, 2021

The first day of Semester 2 for the full-time program is Monday, Feb. 1, 2021.  Students should have received their timetables by email last week.  If not, please contact Ms. Karen Chu, Academic Coordinator.
