Post-Secondary Direct Entry Program

Xspace Post-Secondary Direct Entry Program

Xspace’s Post-Secondary Direct Entry Program targets overseas students who are 18+ years of age and are looking to enter universities or colleges in BC directly without the need to write a language proficiency test for admissions.

Prior to entering the program, students complete a number of English courses with Xspace while in their home country to ensure they meet the requirements for Grade 12 English.  Once students turn 18, they transfer to BC and complete 1 semester at the SD91-Vancouver campus, allowing them to graduate with a BC public high school diploma.  Students can then apply to one of Xspace’s post-secondary partners – the University of Fraser Valley and the College of New Caledonia – without the need for an additional language proficiency test.  Once students are in one of these post-secondary institutions, they have the following study options:

  • 2 years Diploma program and obtain 3 years’ work permit
  • 1-2 years University Transfer program + 2-3 years to obtain a degree at another university (e.g. UBC)
  • Direct entry 4 years university degree

The Xspace Post-Secondary Direct Entry Program is a partnership program run with reputable high schools overseas.  If you are interested in setting up this program with your local school, we would love to hear from you
